O nás

Laboratoř farmakogenomiky (viz. Tým) se zabývá zejména hledáním vhodných prognostických a prediktivních biomarkerů pro hodnocení přežívání a odpovědi nádorových pacientů na terapii. Ve vlastním výzkumu využíváme genomické, epigenomické, proteomické a metabolomické přístupy k hodnocení biomarkerů v tkáňových preparátech pacientů dodaných klinickými pracovišti z celé republiky. Hlavní využití prediktivních biomarkerů vidíme v oblasti stratifikace pacientů do jednotlivých léčebných režimů. Nalezení a validace prognostických biomarkerů rovněž může přispět k vývoji terapeutik pro cílenou léčbu. Naše excelence spočívá ve více než dvacetileté zkušenosti v této oblasti podložené řadou řešených projektů včetně Centra excellence GA ČR a národních iniciativ NCLG a NUVR (viz. Projekty), v publikovaných odborných pracech (viz. Publikace) a v široké mezinárodní spolupráci (viz. Spolupráce). Jsme zakládajícími členy konsorcia PANDoRA (pandoraconsortium.wixsite.com), zabývajícího se výzkumem onemocnění slinivky břišní, a členy konsorcia ENOR (www.oxysterols.net), které se věnuje výzkumu významu oxysterolů.

Kromě řady domácích klinických i akademických pracovišť úzce spolupracujeme s Laboratoří translační genomiky nádorových onemocnění a Laboratoří nádorové léčby a regenerace tkáně
