On September 15–16, our faculty hosted a two-day meeting of the TEACH-ACROSS SEED 4EU+ project team, which aims to develop, test, and subsequently implement an innovative interdisciplinary and international course on One Health and antimicrobial resistance.
One Health is an approach that addresses the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health with the goal of achieving optimal health outcomes through coordinated activities across various disciplines.
The University of Milan, the Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Pilsen, the University of Warsaw, and the University of Heidelberg are collaborating on the project. Representing our faculty in the project are Principal Investigator Assoc. Prof. Pavel Dvořák (Laboratory of Pharmacogenomics and Department of Biology), Dr. Kateřina Chudějová (Department of Microbiology), and Dr. Petr Holý (Laboratory of Pharmacogenomics).
