A peer-reviewed manuscript on acute kidney injury in sepsis and septic shock from the perspective of mitochondrial dysfunction based on sequential renal biopsy and oximetry is expected in November 2024 (Intensive Care Medicine Experimental). We are completing a manuscript on capsaicin as a potential vasoconstrictor in the treatment of septic shock and team members are participating in a lecture activity (Nov 7, 2024 IKEM – Evaluation of volemia in acute conditions). International students interested in intensive care medicine are newly enrolled in our experiment.
